Complain Today
We live in a world where it is okay to complain about something you are not happy with. I am not saying that you should always complain if you are not happy or if a service or product is below expectation, but it is good that at last there are ways to complain.
Financial Service companies have got away with trading customers poorly and ripping them off for years. Until relatively recently there was no way to stand up and complain and object to the way you had been treated. You had to just grin and bear it. But not anymore.
The Financial Service Authority (FCA) have control and are busy shaking the financial services tree.
Payday Lending in the UK has all but gone. The days when Wonga and Payday UK were able to charge APR's in the thousands has gone. Sadly the owners and directors of these companies managed to get out with a lot of money before the companies went bust.
In the 2010's there was an influx of US companies trying to get into the UK Payday Loan market. They bought up companies in a frenzy. Companies such as Payday UK, Payday Express, Cash Genie, One Month Loan, Quick Quid were all consumed by the greed of the US companies. Now those companies have all gone bust and the Americans have gone home licking their wounds and trying to explain to their investors and shareholders where the money has gone.
